The Avenue of Stars is a 400-meter long extend of waterside promenade along the northern side of Victoria Harbor, before the New World Center at Tsim Sha Tsui. The street, which was assembled along a current promenade, opened in April 2004. It cost HK$40 million to build, was planned by nearby designers AGC Design, financed by New World Group and bolstered by government bodies including Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hong Kong Tourism Commission and the Hong Kong Film Awards Association.
